Older women and females in general always say things like, “Oh, I want a nice guy who can really provide and take care of me.” That’s generally because of movies and other sources of media that influence women to say these things. They think because Ryan Gosling did the things he did and said the things he said in The Notebook that the men they desire do the same things as well.
That’s obviously far from the truth.
Try these things out for yourself. I’ve done it, playing the “dream guy” role, wining and dining girls like it were my job. Did it get me anywhere? Nope, barely anywhere.
That’s why I’m a firm believer in just being a confident male. You don’t need to be rich or good looking to get girls. Especially older women. They’ve experienced it all when they were younger. These guys tried providing these kinds of things for them, only for the relationships to fall flat.
I’m not saying that you should treat women like garbage and act like a jerk all the time. It’s okay to poke fun at girls and tease them. However, what I’m saying is that you should just lead. Be confident in your actions and in the the things you say. Rather than constantly ask your girl what to do on your date, lead the way. Suggest things to do.
For example:
Instead of…
“So what do you want to do for dinner?”
Say something like…
“How about this awesome restaurant that just opened downtown? What do you think?”
It’s the little things like that that can really make a difference in your relationship. Women like to be led. Act like a man, be confident, and you will see much better results with women, especially older women who’ve been through all the lame excuses of men out there.
